Western Adventures Inc. is an adventure company that has been around for 52 years! We originated by giving snowcat rides to people who wanted to ski untouched powder above the little town of Lenado. As the adventure junkie changed, so has our business moto. Now we take snowmobile tours and rent ATVs & UTVs.

With our fun spirited, adventurous, and knowledgeable guides, we pride ourselves on making sure you have the best time possible! Our guides know where to go and how to get you there! Just let them know what kind of adventure you are looking for! WAI operates under a special use permit from the USDA Forest Service, White River National Forest.
Expect to see magnificent 360* views of the Continental Divide, Mt. Daily, Capitol Peak, Sopris, Pyramid Peak, Maroon Bells and all 4 Aspen Ski areas! At the top of Larkspur Mtn. we have a warming hut with complimentary snacks, an area for free riding and over 6,000 acres of trail riding!
Glide through the snow in the most spectacular setting. Experience true back country in the deep and unsettled snow, fun trail rides, and our groomed open space for free riding. Be immersed in the majestic scenery of the heart of the Rocky Mountains with views in every direction. We offer 2 hour and 3 hours tours, the only difference is the amount of time on the machines. Departing every 30 minutes between 9-11 daily. *depending on availability

*Whenever possible, Western Adventures will attempt to book tours that consist of groups that are living or traveling together. On public trips, Pitkin County law states, that up to 3 households may travel in shuttle transportation together. **Private tour options are available for an additional fee. This will ensure that only your group will be with the guide. Your guide can only go as fast as the slowest person in the group.
Dress warmly and in layers. It gets chilly at 11,253 ft. and we want you to be comfortable and have the best time possible! Due to COVID-19 we are unable to lend out our gear. If you have it, please BRING WITH YOU - Ski helmets, goggles, gloves, hats, full face coverings (double as a mask and help with windchill), water resistant clothing, and warm snow boots.
